The entrance examination at the Swiss Violinmaking School takes place once a year, at the beginning of February. Skills in the areas of craftsmanship, design and music are tested. The condition for admission to the entrance examination is the completion of compulsory schooling.<\/p>\n

The 2027 entrance examinations will take place from february 10th \u2013 12th 2026.<\/strong>
\nThe closing date for registration is December 15th 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

  2. Handwritten letter of motivation<\/li>\n
  3. Copies of your last school report<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    You will receive an invitation to the entrance exams as soon as your application has been reviewed.<\/p>\n

    Admission requirements<\/h4>\n

    Prospective students must meet the following requirements to be accepted by the school:<\/p>\n

    1. Submit a completed application, recieved before the deadline<\/li>\n
    2. Complete a preparatory assignment before the entrance exam<\/li>\n
    3. Pass the entrance examination<\/li>\n
    4. Recieve confirmation by the foundation board<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
