The Sarnthein–Forni duo was founded with a carte blanche – an invitation to put together a concert freely and according to their own ideas. For Ursula Sarnthein and Emanuele Forni, this was the ideal opportunity to search together for music that moves them both deeply. The result: a long-awaited union of two worlds of the heart – European folk and Baroque music. This first concert marked the beginning of an inspiring musical partnership that has been carried forward ever since by curiosity, openness and stylistic diversity.
