The Golden Bow Award

Since 2000, the Foundation of the Swiss School of Violin Making has honored renowned musicians for their outstanding achievements. "The Golden Bow" symbolizes the connection between music and violin making and is presented during the opening concert of the Meiringen Music Festival .
The prize consists of a gold-mounted bow from the Finkel Bogenwerkstätte Brienz AG with a personal engraving.
