Christmas Market and Open Days

Visit the Brienz Christmas Market and stop by the Violin Making School‍

How does a piece of wood become a violin?

On 28 and 29 November 2026 we invite you to experience violin making up close. Look over the shoulders of our apprentices and master craftsmen and ask all the questions you have always wanted to ask.
In our training workshop and in the exhibition "Of Fiddles and Violins" there is plenty to discover, admire, and hear.

Loom in the library‍

At the same time, the Brienz weavers will be guests in our library, demonstrating their craft live at the loom. We look forward to your visit!
