Markus Fischer

Markus Fischer completed his apprenticeship as a bow maker with Siegfried Finkel in Switzerland from 1984 to 1988. His professional career then took him to Max Möller in Amsterdam and Shar Products in the USA. Since 1993, he has been working at the J. Finkel bow workshop, where he focuses on the construction, repair, and restoration of bows. Markus Fischer has managed the J. Finkel workshop since 2010 and has been sharing his expertise as an instructor at the Swiss School of Violin Making since 2020.
