Adrian Pfeiffer

Adrian Pfeiffer completed his apprenticeship as a violin maker (Federal Vocational Education and Training Diploma) at the Swiss School of Violin Making, graduating with distinction in 2023. At the 2022 Concours International de Lutherie in Paris, he won first prize in the "Talents de demain" category for a collaborative project: a copy of a Matteo Goffriller cello.

Following his training, he gained experience in new construction, repair, and restoration at the workshops of Kogge & Gateau and Ragnar Hayn, Berlin/D.

Beyond his talent as a violin maker, Adrian is also an enthusiastic violinist.

We are delighted that he has returned to Brienz and will be joining the Swiss School of Violin Making as a part-time instructor starting in the 2026/27 school year. In addition, he is currently establishing his own workshop.
